With over 25 years of experience in project management, process improvement, and leadership within the IT and construction industries, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and hands-on property knowledge to the real estate world. My journey began early— rebuilding houses and helping manage my family’s rental properties while in high school—and has since evolved into a passion for real estate, design, and community development.

As a former senior IT professional at a Fortune 500 company, I honed my skills in managing complex projects, leading diverse teams, and implementing innovative solutions. Simultaneously, I pursued my passion for construction, working as a self-employed contractor where I designed and remodeled homes, guided clients through permitting processes, and brought their visions to life with integrity and precision.

Now based in South Florida, I’m channeling my extensive experience into real estate—offering clients a strategic, detail-oriented, and service-driven approach. I’m Heather Laukaitis, of the Laukaitis Group with my husband, Derrick, at Coldwell Banker Realty - Southwest Broward.  As South Florida’s Residential Specialist, based out of Miramar, I focus on residential sales throughout Sunny Isles Beach, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Coral Springs, Tamarac, Boca Raton, and surrounding South Florida communities.
